Suddenly pain becomes a rainbow spectrum of intense light behind the eyelids, as another object impacts against your skull. Just when it seems ultimately hopeless, an acrid aroma causes your nasal passages to twinge, and the humming sound begins again. The unearthly screams of your assailants causes a feeling of relief in your gut, although your bones seem to be vibrating at the same frequency as the sound filling your ears. An unseen form cuts you free from your bonds, the relief is palpable, but so is the ominous sense of dread which fills the room....
